Where to buy C class ships in Starfield
Ships are Starfield’s bread and butter, sandwiched between most missions and planet exploration. They can transport you from one place to another very quickly, and they can also help you take out a swarm of enemy ships. As such, having the best ship for the job can greatly help improve your chances of success. The C class ships are easily some of the best out there. Here’s where to buy C-class ships in Starfield.
Where to get a Class C ship in Starfield?
As with all other ships in Starfield, C-class ships can be purchased or built by yourself through a Ship Service Technician. The easiest place to find is in New Atlantis, right next to where your ship lands. When talking to him, select the “Let me see what ships you have for sale” dialog option. He will show you some ships to look at.

A ship service technician won’t always offer a C-class ship, although in my case, he would sell me a C-class ship called Voyager for 326,000 points (what do I think, am I made of money?). If he’s not selling one, you can easily reset his shop. You just get off in your ship, drop back down, and he should have some new ships to sell. You can also check out ship service technicians in other cities, as they may have different ships on offer. While I was examining Akila for this evidence, their technician was showing the Dullahan, another C-class vessel.
What do I need to fly on a C-class ship?

While you can freely purchase a Class C ship, there is a possibility that you will not be able to fly it yet. This is because you need to reach the maximum driving skill, which is at the bottom of the technology tree. The first few levels of this are for dealing with your ship, but the last two levels provide the ability to fly on B and C class ships. Apart from needing skill points, you will need to kill ships to level up this skill.
Why is a C class vessel useful?
C class ships are better than A or B class ships for several reasons. For once, you will be able to access a larger crew size, allowing you to get more passive advantages from more crew members. Besides, Class C parts provide the best stats in the game, including speed, better handling, and overall power that you can customize. It’s a worthwhile upgrade and is the direct route to designing an endgame ship.
