Togolese and Ghanaians take on Nigerians in a motorsport event

TOR’Q Auto-fest, an annual motorsport event showcasing a mix of thrilling stunts from extreme car drivers and bikers, has announced plans for its fifth edition in Lagos.

Unlike previous years, the 2023 edition of the TOR’Q Auto Festival scheduled to take place in Lagos on November 26 will feature other countries competing with participants from Nigeria.

The event will be held in Eco Hotel & SuitesThe conference, on Victoria Island, will include participants from other West African countries, including Togo and Ghana.

The Head of Strategy and Planning for TOR’Q 23, Adeniyi Bakare, while unveiling plans for this year’s edition in Lagos, said one of the primary objectives of the annual event is to put Nigeria on the global map as a hot rodder. Sports events, which feature exotic and high-speed cars along with exciting performances by drifters.

Mr. Bakare revealed that this year’s edition promises to be more exciting and full of beautiful experiences as participants coming from neighboring countries such as Togo, Ghana and Benin will add more sparkle to the event.


He said there would be plenty of side attractions and urged fun-lovers to register to be part of the event.

“We have partnerships with companies that are conducting qualifiers for this competition in Ghana and Togo, and the winners from there will compete in Lagos on November 26. We are trying to create a synergy across Africa where everyone is working towards one goal,” he said. .

He stated that the event will also include a segment entitled “Supercars on the Runway,” where the audience will learn about luxury cars.

He added: “A segment through which people can learn about cars, see the cars from the inside, and find out why most of these expensive cars are at such astronomical prices.”

Adetola Akinola, Chairman, Board of Trustees of TOR’Q, expressed his delight at hosting another edition of the event and assured participants of unforgettable moments.

She also thanked Fearless for their support, believing that the event will have a significant impact on the automotive industry.

Mike Nwogu, also known as Pretty Mike, the face of TOR’Q 2023, has invited car enthusiasts and fun lovers to mark their calendars for the Auto-fest event, promising an experience full of action, speed and fun.

According to organisers, this year’s event sponsored by Fearless Energy Drink will feature live performances from Brymo, BBNaija’s Eloswags, Nigeria Idol’s Progress, and other top artistes.
