It’s only been a few days since Nintendo hosted a Super Mario Bros. event. Wonder Direct to showcase what players can expect from the next entry in the Super Mario franchise when it launches on October 20th. Despite this, Nintendo is already gearing up to host a regular Nintendo Direct where it will showcase several titles that we can expect to see throughout the remainder of 2023 and early 2024.

According to Universo Nintendo’s Brazilian website, the company is scheduled to hold its latest Nintendo Direct presentation sometime next week from September 11th to 15th. It’s unclear if this will be a small demo or a larger one, but with the gaming industry heading into its busiest period of the year, we expect it to be the last. This will be the first Nintendo Direct presentation since the June one that showcased games including Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. Ultimate. Wonder, Pikmin 4, the new Princess Peach and the new Super Mario RPG.

What will be shown during Nintendo Direct?

So far, there is no news about what to expect from the presentation. But there are plenty of new Nintendo Switch releases to look forward to over the coming months, so we can expect to see several of them showcased during the event. Sonic Superstars was shown during a previous Nintendo Direct presentation and its release date is approaching with its October 17th release, so there’s a good chance we’ll find out more details about that game. As mentioned earlier, Super Mario Bros. will launch. Wonder just three days later on October 20. Looking ahead, there is a Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection game that will be released on October 24, but with rumors that Konami will host a presentation soon, it may not be shown this time.

Moving into November, Star Ocean: The Second Story R will be released on November 2nd, another game that was previously shown during the previous Nintendo Direct. WarioWare: The Movie It! This is followed on November 3rd by the highly anticipated Super Mario RPG on November 17th, and the first Pokemon Scarlet/Violet expansion is scheduled for release in the fall of 2023. We can also expect news of some titles that are scheduled for release in 2023 and beyond. , which could include Metroid Prime 4.

There have also been rumors that the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 may have been shown off behind closed doors at Gamescom, so there’s little chance it will impress during this Nintendo Direct showcase. The Nintendo Switch is nearing the end of its life, having been released in 2017, so it shouldn’t be long before we know what the next console will be.
