The Crew Motorfest has the coolest map for 2023
It’s rare that a video game map excites me. Hell, I rarely notice it, as most maps are serviceable and little more than that. So, before you play a few hours of Ubisoft’s open-world racing game, Al Crew Car FestivalI didn’t expect to be amazed by its in-game map. However, I was. It might be the best and coolest video game map of 2023.
Al Crew Car Festivalreleased today via Early Access, is the third game Ubisoft’s open-world racing franchise. But this time, the developers decided to stop trying to recreate the entire United States and do something better: copy Forza Horizon. Okay, that’s a bit of an understatement, but Motorcycle festival It really feels like Ubisoft’s stab at trying to replicate the fun and exciting emotions Microsoft common Forza Horizon Commercial franchise. I’ll have to play more before I can make a final judgment on how well I did Motorcycle festival It masters the formula, but I don’t need to play any more to tell you that its map is amazing.
Yet very exciting Forza Horizon-Like Fatah Motorcycle festivalYou dropped into Hawaii and let loose with its roads, cliffs and hills. But before I hit the gas and fly out into the world, I opened the map to look at the ground. When I did this, the game seamlessly zoomed out to show a better view of the island, which looked pretty cool. However, I then discovered that I could rotate the entire, highly detailed 3D map while cars and planes continued to move around it in real time, which was even more impressive. However, it was only when I zoomed in on the map that I was amazed.

Sometimes maps in games represent the world through simple lines that create a mirror image of the actual place you’re exploring. Even those that attempt to provide a more visually detailed representation of the settings usually don’t allow you to zoom in on the action very closely. This is not the case in Al Crew Car Festival, but. Instead, when I zoomed in on the map, I saw all the details of the game world represented in real time in the map viewer. I can zoom into any part of the big island and see NPCs walking around or cars driving around.
I can’t stress enough how smooth and flawless this all was too. Sure, you can click on them and slowly zoom in and out to discover some of the tricks Ubisoft implements to make it all work. But this is still one of the coolest maps I’ve ever seen in a game. I ended up wandering around with the map for about 20 minutes after discovering how close you can zoom into any part of the island. (Crew 2 A similar map appeared(But this time Ubisoft lets you zoom in even more and it looks better.)
It’s especially nice to have a cool and useful map like this after playing so much of it Starfield newly, Which has a decidedly less cool and very bad in-game map. That “map” in Bethesda’s RPG didn’t help me at all. while, the crewA map that not only looks great, but actually provides useful information about where roads connect, how buildings are formed, where hills are, and other geographic information.
Ubisoft, take that technology apart and make a game about exploring maps and finding assassins, intruders, or whatever franchise works best with that idea. I’ll play that. Until then, I’ll keep playing this wickedly cool map. Oh, I will play Motorcycle festival, the actual game it connects to as well. Recently…
