Texas’ power grid enters emergency mode Wednesday night to avoid ongoing blackouts — Houston Public Information

ERCOT has asked Texans to conserve power 10 times this month due to rising power demand as excessive heat has gripped the state. Wind power is expected to be low on Wednesday.
