Niger is a landlocked country located in West Africa. It has an area of ​​1,267,000 square kilometers and is roughly divided into two halves by the Sahara Desert. Niger shares borders with seven separate countries. Niger is surrounded by Libya, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Benin, Nigeria, Mali and Chad. Niger’s climate is very dry with wetter, arable areas in the south.
