Halo Infinite The latest update, Content Update 29 (“CU29”), has arrived, along with the launch of the newest Operation: Spirit of Fire!

Operation: Spirit of Fire

As part of today’s update, all players will receive the classic Mark IV Armor Core for free. Just jump into the game and you’ll find it waiting for you in the Armor Hall.

This fan-favorite armor has appeared in the likes of Halo Wars And Halo Wars 2, Halo legends, Aura 5: GuardiansAnd now this legendary iteration of Mjolnir has arrived Infinite aura.

And what better way to start upgrading than with the opportunity to further equip the Mark IV Armor Core?

Enter Operation: Spirit of Fire, which runs from January 30 to March 5 and features 20 levels of free customization rewards, including new armor attachments, skins, weapon charms, emblems, and more.

You know the ops drill now: In addition to the free pass, there are two additional premium options you can purchase.

  • 500 points will make your Operation Pass durable (it won’t expire), provides additional XP during the Operation’s live window, an additional Challenge Slot while equipping your ticket, and comes with an exclusive customization item.
  • 2,000 Credits instantly unlocks all 20 levels of the Operation Card upon purchase and includes an exclusive bonus customization item.

An additional customization element to this process is the Evolved MA5 – a weapon model for your assault rifle that will transform the sleek, modern MA40 into a classic, chunky design reminiscent of the MA5B seen in Hi Ma And Halo Wars.

Today’s update also brings a brand new map Infinite auraTitled Illusion.

Versatile shoulder customization

As before, this multi-core armor expansion works retroactively, so all of your current shoulder pads are multi-core enabled and all shoulders from now on will be multi-core as well.

Continuing the work done across previous updates to make helmets, visors, and many coatings multi-core, there are now billions of possible combinations available in Infinite aura. We can’t wait to see the latest and greatest Spartan drop on the battlefield!

Drafting updates

Forge continues to evolve as we target much-needed additions, enhancements, and quality-of-life improvements. Here are some of the most notable new games you can play Infinite auraediting:

Need more purple? Over 70 new era-themed skeleton pieces, primaries, accents, and insignias are now available for forgers to create exciting period experiences. auraRoot.

This new functionality allows players to write modes into the Node Graph as an out-of-the-box mode, and then save, share, and play those experiences — just as you would share a created mode in a custom game menu.

The Forge mode creator will make it easier to share and play modes, link them to community maps, and free up the map budget (as mode logic will no longer come with a map budget cost).

Players can now set up to three colors on selected foliage objects and add more clothing and detail to their maps with decals that mimic spots, foliage growth, and more.

The first person perspective of the player looks at different foliage formation objects with different colors and textures.

AI toolkit improvements

New behaviors and attributes have been added to the Forge AI toolkit, including:

  • New team behavior – wandering around when idle

Return launch packages for year one

After huge demand from the community, we are bringing back the first packs for each HCS team Infinite aura Launched in 2021 – with some major improvements!

Armor and weapon sets have been unlocked, meaning you can now customize with these skins for the first time ever. Additionally, they are all now versatile meaning you can wear armor, masks, or weapon skins on any UNSC armor, helmet, or weapon.

If you have already purchased these launch packs when Infinite aura Released, the content will be applied retroactively. If you missed these packs the first time, they are now available again for teams still in the Halo Championship Series: FaZe Clan, OpTic Gaming, Sentinels, Spacestation Gaming, and Cloud9.

Launch packages for the third year

Year 3 HCS packs have also arrived with all-new designs, featuring new versatile armor layers as well as masks. These products are created by the same teams and feature their own unique branding.
