David Beckham paid tribute to Inter Miami’s victory over Los Angeles FC over Labor Day weekend, and celebrated his team’s three-point win in California by riding his motorcycle on a tour of the state’s scenic roads afterwards.
The 48-year-old, who went on holiday to Croatia with his family over the summer, shared several professional snaps from Sunday’s match on Instagram, tagging the club he co-owns in the image of Facundo Farias’ opener (14 min). Next to the words: “Big win @intermiamifc.”
Beckham then shared a photo of a jubilant Lionel Messi – the Miami star – and captioned the snap: “Smiles are everywhere in LA @intermiamifc.”
The former England captain also shared images of other Inter Miami players celebrating their latest win, including Ecuadorean striker Leonardo Campana and Spanish left-back Jordi Aba, after the match.
He also shared a snap of the back of Sergio Busquets’ jersey with the caption, “Great team performance,” and proudly showed Inter Miami’s logo written in Spanish: “Libertad.” Para sonar, which roughly translates to “freedom to dream.”
Then, Beckham shared evidence of his motorcycling skills to his Instagram followers by posting footage of him riding his motorbike with a close friend.
