Connecticut Fishing Report

Matt, that Black Hall Merchants in Westbrook He told me things in the saltwater are starting to slow down, with blackfish season ending this week. Striped bass fishing is holding down the fort for most saltwater anglers, along with some reports of schooling bass still around the beaches. Freshwater guys are reporting some strong trout action in the TMAs, which should only get better over the coming weeks, along with Atlantic salmon that have recently been stocked again.

Heather from Blackhawk sport fishing We hope everyone had an excellent Thanksgiving! They were lucky enough to take some trips last week. The black fishing season ended strong, with many restrictions in place throughout the boat. After the rough weather over the holiday, they weren’t sure how to catch bass, but they found excellent fishing over the weekend. Sea bass were waiting for them, with limits all around the boat, along with some nice cod and some leftovers to help fill the coolers. Heather wanted to thank everyone who participated in our annual Small Business Gift Certificate Sale on Saturday, they appreciate all the support! They will continue to hunt through December, weather permitting, so be sure to get your tickets and join them!
