APEC SF road closures, tow areas, and traffic map

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – According to the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, more than 20,000 people are expected to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum. 21 world leaders are also expected to join the summit.

Most APEC activities will take place in the South Market and Nob Hill neighborhoods, however, due to the larger population, it may affect other parts of San Francisco as well.

The bulk of APEC events will be held at the Moscone Centre. Streets and freeway ramps around Moscone Center will be closed from November 14-19.

Street closures are expected to begin on November 13 and continue until November 19. These closures will cause significant traffic impacts.
